In her military assignments, she served thousands of service members undergoing the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES), providing her with invaluable insight into policies, nuances, timelines, benefits, and challenges of the IDES process. As a paralegal with the Office of the Soldiers’ Counsel, I conducted in-depth medical record reviews and research, and drafted, reviewed, and revised Soldiers’ appeals to assist clients in obtaining much deserved benefits.
