Zealously advocating for the military and Veterans is personal to Sarah and she will be your reliable guide and advocate. She brings a passion and a wealth of experience as a Veterans’ advocate with her law school clinical experience with an Appellate attorney in Department of Veterans Administration cases, in uniform as an Air Force Paralegal and from serving as a combat Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom as well as Operation Enduring Freedom during which time she served as a Munitions Specialist.
Sarah also has over 12 years of experience as an Air Force Paralegal as well. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge about Military Discharges, Flying Evaluation Boards (FEB), Line of Duty Determinations, Incapacitation Pay, and Military Justice Actions.
Here at Citizen Soldier Law her practice focuses on Veterans and Military Law issues such as mandated COVID-19 injections, Board of Corrections for Military Records (BCMR) Actions, Veterans Administration (VA) Appeals, Military Discharge Upgrades, Medical Discharge, and other Administrative Separation Matters just to name a few.
A graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California, Sarah dedicated countless hours aiding veterans through the Schools Veterans Legal Advocacy Center with Military Discharge Upgrades and VA Appeals.
Before that, after spending six years on Active Duty (2003-2009) as a Munitions Specialist, Sarah transferred to the Air Force Reserves and took on her new role as a Paralegal. In 2018, Sarah transitioned yet again to the Air National Guard as a Paralegal.
On the civilian side, Sarah has a unique background as she has previously worked for the Department of Justice as a Paralegal at the United States Attorney’s Office in San Francisco, California. From her time as a DOJ Paralegal, Sarah brings a wide breadth of experience with Employment Class Actions, Mortgage and Health Care Fraud, and Tort Actions. Sarah has also worked for the Army as a Civilian Paralegal at Fort Leavenworth, specializing in Medical Claims and Tort Actions. She has also served as a Paralegal with the Army Corps of Engineers where she gained further experience in matters concerning Labor Law, Contract Disputes, Government Takings, and Tort Law.
