Laurent Laguitan

Laurent enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2011 and attended Basic Training in Lackland AFB, Texas. He went on as an Aerospace Maintenance(Crew Chief) in Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst maintaining C-17s. In 2013 he became Flying Crew Chief as a Senior Airman. He would travel along with a crew as the designated mechanic ensuring air worthiness for the aircraft. He traveled up to 60 different countries, 4 deployments, over 2000 flying hours with 800 combat hours and 400 White House support hours. After 3 years in the flying assignment, he went on as an Aircraft Support Supervisor, supervised 11 Airmen and managed all aircraft support operations.

He completed Airman Leadership School. He liked to volunteer on his free time that he received the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
