Chris Ann Wright

Chris Ann WrightChris Ann Wright began practicing law in 1995. She received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, School of Business and graduated from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. Thereafter, she served as the law clerk to The Honorable John J. Gross, Jr. (Ret.) in the Family Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County. It was as a law clerk Chris Ann began mediating in both the Family Court and Special Civil. Currently, Chris Ann is a court appointed economic mediator for the Family Division and has a special designation as a domestic violence economic mediator. In addition, Chris Ann is a Certified Matrimonial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey and has extensive experience in divorce, custody, equitable distribution and domestic violence. Chris Ann also spent several years practicing in residential real estate and was a partner at the firm Blanco & Wright, LLC where she gained experience working with clients obtaining VA loans when purchasing their homes. She has authored several articles on issues within family law and real estate, including the division of the marital home, relocation of one parent with the children, post nuptial agreements and domestic violence mediation, to name a few.

Chris Ann is a member of the New Jersey Bar and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is also a member of the Union County and Somerset County Bar Associations, BW Nice of Union County (an organization that supports domestic violence victims) and volunteers on the Juvenile Conference Committee for Union County (volunteers who work in conjunction with the courts to divert youth away from the court system). In her free time, Chris Ann enjoys spending time with her husband, her four sons and her mother-in-law, the proud widow of a United States Air Force veteran.
